Candida has an academic background, completing a PhD in neurophysiology in 1995 and working in a number of post-doctoral research positions in the fields of neuroscience, neurophysiology, neuronal networks, electrophysiology, behaviour, genetics, and cell biology. Her last post-doctoral position was at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge.

Using her extensive experience in life sciences she became an Executive Researcher in 2005. She was recruited by PiR Group as a Researcher, rising to Head of Research.

During her time at PiR Group, Candida successfully executed numerous projects across a spectrum of disciplines within the global life sciences sector. She also benefited from training by several of the most highly regarded head-hunters in the UK.

Candida Rogers Executive Search was established in 2010 to offer a wide range of headhunting skills to life sciences based organisations.
